Just put a new alternator in 230a.
At idle it charges at 12.6-12.8 (old 130 a alt charged at 14.3 at idle).
When I rev it up it charges beautifully, and holds the charge wonderfully at full tilt with the BTL SCREAMINGLY loud. Although briefly , not even a full second, charge jumps to 15.3.
I worry about the idle dropping so low, especially if this is gonna happen when i stop at the light and have to turn it down.
When I parka and turn the car off the batterys sit at 12.6-12.8 but after sitting for 20-30 minutes it jumps back up to 12.93 resting voltage.
Did i do something wrong with this install that the charge is weird or do i just need to bump up my idle speed?
