Default Lowest safe voltage on sundown 3500

What is the lowest voltage you can drop to and be safe with a saz 3500 from sundown?
While revving i generally have great charging in the upper 13-14. while idle my alt isnt charging at full capacity (trying to figure out upping idle speed currently to fix this) when i pull up to a light or even just coasting down the street ,not accelerating, my voltage sometimes drops to 12.8-12.9.

Is dropping that low going to hurt the amp for a few moments?
What is the lowest voltage i can safely drop to without worry for maybe a minute or so (red light/stop signs) The manual says operating voltage is 10v-18v. I have a 230a singer alt in there and 3 sprinter battery's plus a yellow top ~300ah total.

most of the time i am alone on the road, the road i take doesnt usually have many people on it, plus the issue also occurs while cruising (not accelerating)

i dont like my voltage to drop lower then 12.8v... my batteries resting voltage is 12.8 so if i get down that low im only using ALT power. if u want to stay above 13v u need a bigger alt or dual alts. or just rev your engine.

230 singer alt (he says it does 250a) its the biggest one my 4cylinder can fit and push according to dc,mechman, tenny and singer. Dual alt is out of the question as well from what i understand.

would an additional sprinter help with that drop at idle? and if i go below 12.8 that means its no longer using the batterys just the alternator to power the amp? because even with the amps and radio powered off the car idles at 12.6v. i shut the car off and it slowly bumps back to resting at 12.83.

and just how low into 12 is safe? absolute lowest i have seen was 12.3 on a kick while idle.

no once u are drawing more current then your alt puts out then you are going to use batteries. u should be fine at 12.3but lower voltage can make you get a clipped signal. i say mid 12's is the lowest you wanna go.

What car is it? What part of Plano you in? If it's in the 12s your ok. Getting into the 11's is not good.

you are fine. I used to drop into high 10's on my american bass amps and never had an issue. people on here go overkill with electrical. that being said 11.5 is my minumum before i back off the volume knob. DD amps are tested at 11.9 volts. They are korean built. most korean amps should be fine that low if not lower.
