Default Where to mount 2 mini rocker switches and a pac lc-1 withtout the case?

Been putting it off but I really need to mount the damn things (as you can see from the pic of all the wires hanging everywhere)

Any place that I can mount these and have it secure is fine. As long as it's within close range and quick enough that I don't have to search for it.

I am going to just use the bolt/nut from the lc-1, not the case.

Any ideas appreciated... huge plus if you've worked with HHR or cobalt or similar vehicles

what if you rewired them and put them in the door panel? just a suggestion. make a piece that fits into the door panel or pocket of the door panel if there is one. only a suggestion, never wired a HHR before.

Any idea on what to use for the piece in the door?

I kinda like having my door storage though.

I will probably do the gear shifter method for the switches. There seems to be enough room there if I bend the terminals on the switches (leaving only a few small holes for wires)

There is a decent amount of room behind the rubber tray thing. And I'm sure I can get another one of these parts to replace it if needed (if I mess it up, or sell the car, etc)

Here is what I came up with as a temporary solution.

The volt meter I don't care about because it was $3, but the lc-1 I do. The car has the option for in-car circulation only, but I usually just have it on the floor, so little to no air will even be on the vents (I never use heat or AC anyway)

Got the unit in and everything is wired up nice.

I think it looks pretty good except for the switches randomly hanging out

I pop the center storage and boom! treble.

I love this way because the tweeters are blocked from sunlight/view until i open the center console storage.

And the switches mean nobody but me turns on the amps and you just get the lame stock mids without the amps turned on. So anyone (my dad) is free to adjust the EQ on the unit however they please without my good equipment getting damaged

Oh yeah, and the best part about this is that nothing is permanent
