Default Two 4k or one 7k? Subs or amps first?

So my graduation is coming up in 3 days and my family said they'll all pitch in to help with part of my system, so I'm debating on getting the subs first (fi sp4's) or getting 1 lanzar opti 7k or 2 lanzar opti 4k. Any input is greatly appreciated. I'm either purchasing amp(s) or 1 of 2 subs. What do you think? I sold my tx1.2000 so I'd have no way to run the sub(s) ha

I say get the subs first just seeing them will motivate you to get the amps and if you don't have the electrical for whatever amps your getting do that first! It's most important to protect your future equipment from blowing up.

I see never looked at it that way! Subs it is, then box, then electrical and then amps. Seein those sexy subs will be a great motivator

as far as amps i would do the 2 4k amps as you can start out using 1 amp and as you beef up your electrical you can strap the second one later for more power.

That's what I did. My subs are D2 so I ran one [email protected] on the two subs then got the second 2.0 and run the subs at 2ohms on both amps strapped.

2 dual 1s so you can wire to 1 ohm which will be .5 each amp or if you want to be safer get dual 2s and wired to 2 ohms strapped

Yea.. I wouldn't feel very safe at all running .33.

That may be just me tho.. I run the Popcorn Sounds 2500s. Allegedly have lanzar oiptidrive boards in them.. I have mine strapped at .66 each amp for a final load of 1.33. They love it
