Default Deadener on amp backplate?

Would it be okay to put some deadener on the backplate of my amp? I'm talking about inside though. Not sure if it would mess up the amp or anything. I wouldn't cover any existing vents or anything (obviously). Maybe a strip or two to stop it from vibrating. I've tightened all the plate screws but the middle seems a little sloppy and loose so thinking this might help it.

I just foresee it melting off and falling on the components and shorting something.

don't put it on the inside.

the aluminum constraint layer is conductive.

amplifiers do not have 'extra' room inside them.

Clamp a couple of small MDF strips to the bottom if it's rattling... (outside)
