Today while I was driving my crescendo 1000c4 popped its on board fuses. I've had this amp for a couple years with no issues. My typical full tilt volume is 27 on my alpine. They popped at volume 2 while I was about to make a phone call. Put some new fuses in and they popped a few seconds after power up. So I pulled the cover off and I can't see any burn marks and nothing smells burned. Anybody got any ideas?
Yeah...something shorting out. Immed pops fuses...which is a good thing, narrows down your hunt for the "bad bug". I'd check your wiring, power, ground, etc. Maybe a strand of wire is touching the neg somehow. And yes it can happen and blow fuses....it's happened to me.

I checked all my connections. No strands shorting anywhere on power ground or remote. Speaker terminals are good as well. I actually checked those before I pulled the cover off. I don't know a whole lot about amps so what does the power supply look like so I can check that?
