Default My little project

Ive been playing with this idea for years, after talking with boomsday im gonna try it out.
An rca distribution block

This will eliminate the need for y adapters. One rca run back for subs off one lc-1 to all sub amps. The one I am working on is one rca in and 6 out for subs and probably 1 highs in and 4 out.
I wanted to get a general idea of how useful it could be and how many people would be interested.
Im using 14 g wire between jacks so loss should be very minimal.
Soon after I progress further into the idea I will include blue tooth(in case) so it is a standalone signal unit playing off of any bluetooth capable device.
Let me know what you guys think

Think toolmaker is selling these for a company. Essentially the same thing. I need something like this for mids and highs. Would save a ton of hassle

Voltage remains consistent through a parallel circuit. The ratio of output/input impedance will change though, which can definitely lower TOTAL voltage across the circuit if you're using a high output impedance source. In other words any lowering of signal strength is dependent on what's on either end of the RCA signal path, and has nothing to do intrinsically with splitting the signal.

Oh, and to add, those look good! I've been developing an affordable flat measurement mic and have probably soldered a hundred 3.5mm connectors in the past few months. That shit gets tiring, lol.

0This is it for tonight... as you can see 1 in 6 out and 1 in 4 out.
Gotta lot of soldering to do, then off to boomsday for testing and application

I will probably end up sizing up wire... im not caring too much for how this 14g is setting on the "fluid" opening.
Yes I realize some of the wholes arent straight but im a little rushed because of what time I get home

I can't wait to incorporate bluetooth into it. And a possible remote source to eliminate the need for anything besides power and ground runs.
Damn boomsday got me thinking about a lot yesterday
