erm... Do you see anywhere where I said it was clean? I was simulating some distortion. I have tested that amp about a bazillion times. I know what it does clean, clipped, dirty, loaded, unloaded, wired down, low voltage, good voltage, after it hot, while it's cool, on caps, on batts, where it protects, what's thermal limits are and just about anything else anyone would care to know about it.

But thanks for chiming in. Your opinion is duly noted.

In your statements. Without saying it was simulated distortion. so you have me confused here.

Oh... you mean the first wave?

I tell you what... why don't you enlighten us as to why it looks like that? In your experience.

I've never understood one thing. Due to d class switching you need a specialized filter to read a signal from a class D amp. If not the signal appears to always be clipped due to switching modes. This is even for units from Audio Precision. Has it ever been addressed how a DD-1 can correctly read a Class D amp?

im no *expert* here but it looks to me as something *I* would call distorted. Warped and unfine like most waves i see that have no distortion. It could be the screen or resolution. :Like i said im no expert.

How loud is it when it sees the first bit of distortion? Is it barely audible? Have you had multiple people of different ages put the headphones on and listen? Sort of like a hearing test you'd take at the doctor. That's really the only issue I'd see with these but they are definitely awesome to say the least. Don't think in any way I'm trying to go against the product or your knowledge or any of the other nonsense that goes on in here. Just curious that's all

Nope. Lol. Murph and Jason are the only other two to have even "heard" them.

It's pretty soft when the first bit comes in. That's really the only "learning curve" that'll be necessary with them; to figure out how loud is acceptable. Still working the bugs out.
