Default Center Console Build

Hello all,
Awhile back I was looking at putting some 10's under the back seat of a 99 ram, but long story short it never happened. I am installing gauges and rocker switches into my truck and have decided I want to make a center console sub box running a sealed chamber and a ported chamber. I am looking at Fi BL 10 facing rear of the cab with two 3 inch aero ports facing rear also in a 1.893 net cuft chamber. The other chamber will be .42 net cuft for a Fi Q 10. I eventually want to run both subs on one amp. I was pretty attracted to the Alpine MRX- M240 because I must do one sub at a time because of college and finances. This would allow me to run the sealed or ported sub by itself on that amp as well as being to rewire both in the future. Looking at getting dual 2 ohms to wire the first sub at 4 ohms to run 1500 RMS and then when I get second, wiring at 2 ohms to receive 2400 RMS. Does this sound ok to you guys, the box will be 3/4 MDF with a coat of fiberglass resin wrapped in leather to match truck seats with a plush pleated arm rest on top.

I have already done big three and will be adding two more AGM batteries. I am running stock alternator (either 117 or 136)

Any input or advice is more than welcome, Thank you

Make a badass fourth order and it will sound just as good as a sealed box. Those subs should be easy enough to find specs for someone to help with a SQL box.

the problem with your setup is using two different subs in two different boxes. Why? Sounds like you want fi so I would just run two fi q10s in a shared chamber about 2cu tuned around 32.

Well the reason for doing a sealed/ported box is I want the punch and clarity of a sealed box as well as being able to hit the lows hard. I know this would be easily accomplished by building a bandpass, but I have nowhere near the room. I have 3 feet of length total. I have 19 inches of height and 14.5 inches of width max. The other issue is I need to drop te box down at about 24 inches in able to use my cup holders. That drops the height of the remaining 12 inches to 4 inches tall

I would not mind using two fi q series if it would make it easier

I've been thinking about what you said dirt and as long as they will hit clear and good do you think they would be ok facing opposite directions?

You don't have to have sealed for "punch and clarity". I'd sell one or the other and buy one to match. A properly designed ported enclosure will do everything you want.

I would really try to keep them on the same plane if possible
