Default Loud SQ brands

So i'm getting a ford edge. Fairly nice truck, so I want some nice sounding gear that can get dumb loud when i want. I looking more toward SQ thou. My top brand is ID. Heard Arc should also be in that discussion and as always JL. Sundown is really appealing to me too. First, I'm not should how much space is in the back of the edge. I wanted 15's, but I may step down to 12's. I wanted 2 IDMax v4 15s, 2 q1200s, 2 XS 5x7s and a q450.4. I have nothing against sealed, so I wouldn't mind running the 15s that way Any recommendations on good sounding gear?

you won't go wrong with the ID MAX.

There is a very nice Focal driver on here for $600 I believe it is a 16".

Sundown has been developing a SQ driver for a while, but hasn't posted anything new about it in a while. It was supposed to be a badass underhung monster.

ARC audio is also great equipment but slightly pricer than ID.

I hate JL

I feel you on JL. The Alpine X series looks legit too. I also have a Hertz 5 channel amp I haven't used, but was hooked up in the store for me and sounded absolutely heavenly. Hertz gear is harder to get a hold of and costly

To be honest with you not many people on here mess with SQ. I would recommend DIYMA for sq based questions.

I recommend CDT Audio. I am personally getting back into SQ and I am very impressed with CDT. Check out CDT's website. They are a little pricey, but well worth it. They even have a B stock selling site with discounts. Some other brands to look into are definitely Boston and Kenwood Excelon

obsidian, nice compromise between sq and spl at a very attractive price. The build quality seems excellent.

oh. SSA Icon is an amazing sq sub that can get rowdy as hell. The dcon is even pretty amazing if you just wanna run like 350 watts.

If you are an ID guy and want loud sq, then try the xs series components. They are very efficient and will take a lot of power too.

be sure you have the space to dedicate first, give the subs their optimum space and port to get the most out of it and still sound good. dont skimp on the amp either and you cant go wrong with that focal sub either, then theres one idiot that has cerwin vega pros for sale also.
