Default Alternator that can take a beating?

Alright as many of you know im a rock bouncer now and fixing to put alot of lights and other accessories (suck down winches, already have a radio, hi performance radiator fan) I need a decent amp alternator. Stock zuki has like a 60 lol
So I need a beefy alt that won't freak out or fail because of getting its ass whooped and coated in mud and all the other joys. It is completely open to the elements. Suggestions?

I could be completely wrong here but I feel like I heard of some guys running GM cs130 alternators on those suzukis. Granted they kind of such as well, it would be a little upgrade from the 60amp, and you can pick one up a any salvage yard for cheap

I can also vouch for the cs144. You can probably pick them up at a salvage yard as well(I got two from mine), and they probably double the performance of the cs130. Both of mine were stamped 140amps, but I heard they also came in a 170amp model factory.

only alts that wont fail are DC XP and SPX and any other of their lines that incorporate temp sensing protection.

This system prevents the rectifier from burning up due to overloading the alternator.

That is NOT why..

A dual rectifier which these alts have as well just prolong the potential failure of overloading an alternator.

The physical protection of cutting back output once the rectifier gets too hot is fullproof.

If I had a 250a alt with 540a of rectifier diodes.. ok..
But if I am pulling 1000a of current, dual rectifier isnt going to fix anything..

It just passes the abuse over more diodes prolonging the alternator from dying until the dual rectifier gets too hot and fails.

I only run dc xp because I can only run 1 alt on my car.

2 setups ago, I used ro run 21000w worth of amps on 1 alt..

This time I will be running over 50000w on 1 alt.
I will never have an issue pulling several thousand amps because of onboard protection.
