Well.. the largest Ultracaps i've seen from Ioxus is only rated for about ~1200A for 1 second.
These are 3000F caps.
So.. according to what you are wanting, you would need a bank just to get you to the proper voltage then another bank and another bank and another bank to sustain current draw.
2 banks of 6 would theoretically be 2400A for 1 second or 1200A for 2 seconds.
The problem is caps are rated like this to 0v. So, unless your device can operate down to 0v, you will need an UNGODLY amount of caps for this machine to do more than 1 2kA load draw on these caps.
On the other hand, there is another thing that exists.. Batteries.
My single D1200 is capable of doing 1200A for 5 seconds down to 7.2v And that's around $200 shipped.
Just something to think about.
