Default Best Budget comps

My build will consist of a pair of Obsidian 18s on a Cerwin Vega 2k, and probably a PPI 900.4 for mids/highs in a Lincoln Navigator. I'm looking for a front stage to keep up with that, but I'm on a budget. I was told to go pro audio, but I want to keep it a little simpler with eq'ing and such, so I'm thinking of running 2 comp sets per door (2 mids/tweets per door).

Can anyone suggest me some comps that are under $75 per set that will have decent vocals and midbass? I prefer 6 or 6.5s. I'm also not opposed to buying used. I wish I could find 2 sets of pg rsd's, but this seem to have vanished from the face of the earth at any reasonable price.

I'll have a little rear fill, but I'm not too concerned with that as of yet. I'll probably just throw my current jl 5x8s in the back doors.

If you are looking for that cheap I would use raw drivers and run active with that amp. I built a system doing just that with that amp and worked great. Its a little more work in tuning but it would blow away a comp set at that price.

No pa and no raw drivers. Only budget comp sets this time. I did pa mids/highs in my last build, and while I enjoyed them, I want to go a little simpler this time. I had 4 selenium 6s and a pair of sound stream bullet tweeters on 2 jl 300/4s. I eventually made it sound great, but it took too much equipment and time.

My tantric components keep up with my tantric shd 18" so I'd bet you can get away with just the coaxles.

The cadence cwm6kit were said to be decent for the price around the same time the rsd's were out. Never personally used or heard them but they're still available on ebay for $60 a set or $115 if you buy 2

I was actually looking at those earlier. They have great reviews.

Cheap and decent sounding, not just cheap. Those sound like ass, and aren't durable at all. I've had a couple of friend who've had those and the autotek twins
