Default damaged motor

hey guys and gals i recently purchased a ultra audio motor new off of ebay....and it got damaged in shipping (looks like it was dropped 3 or 4 times and the box was in 3 peices) but all damage is cosmetic except for the pole

ultra audio wont be avalible for any questions or rerturns or anything till monday (world finals)...all i have to do is file down the edge the damage made and the motor will be fully useable again....but is it worth sending back?...lol

I say shipper's fault. Something so simple as wrapping the motor with bubblewrap or thick recycleable newspaper or something and a box. Make sure that sumbish don't move in the box. I'd be a little pissed about it but you seem to be relaxed....

Pics of damaged box it came in? and guess it's too late to ask how it was wrapped.

Really all depends I only had to 1 claim in my life and it took about a week for them to request the item to be dropped off at a local office for inspection/proof of claim
then about 2 weeks for final aproval and id say 3-4 days for a refund to come.
I have heard it taking the full 60 days or more during thr holiday months (december-feb/march)

no not to late the motor was packaged ok...foam and cardboard several layers wer stuffed around the motor but thats not going to help any if its ben dropped a couple of times and hit with a pallet jack...lol

and when they messed up the original box they wrapped the original box in packing tape and stuffed it in a new box and still messed it up

the bag that had the motor in it

some of the packaging

the outside damage or original box

im fixing to call them again and see if they even know of me...lol and now i have more pics to send to them and add to my claim online...

Make sure you keep all of the packaging. They will want that.
