Unhappy Taking the roof headliner out?

Hi Gent's!

I've started the work on my car (WALL), I've removed everything but the roof headliner confuses me, how can I take it out of the car? It's so big lol, the car is KIA OPTIMA 2012, impossible to take it out from the door?
Any trick? Should I cut it?

Thank you, any info would be greatly appreciated,

Kindest Regards.

usually take front passenger seat out, and drop it and work your way out of the back door.

I have done 4 now and they all had to be done like that.

Good luck it was a pain in the ass.

It should bend/fold so you can get it out. Its usually just a stiff cardboard like material.

Why do you want to remove it?

Don't bend it too much because it will leave a horrible crease mark. There is a possibility that it's not possible to get out through a door opening but just be patient and try ever possible angle/position

Yeah it looks like it wouldn't get out at all, I want to do triple layer of RoadKill expert and I don't want to put resin on it or ruin while building the wall lol!

Thank you sir, I greatly appreciate it,

Kindest Regards.

If you're serious about taking it out, call some local window replacement shops and ask how much to remove and reinstall your rear window. It SHOULD fit through the back window and it'll make building your wall a little easier

I would try to avoid bending it too much, I just helped my buddy put one in his car, we went to the scrap yard and got it out of a car with no seats came out easy, putting it in his car was a pain. It got folded and every where it was folded the head liner started sagging with in 2 weeks
