Default Looking for suggestions on tweeters

Hey guys, I'll be putting two neopro 8 v1s in each front door, and I'm trying to find tweeters that will compliment them nicely. Right now I have a pair of pyramid super tweets and I'm not sure I like how they sound, although I havn't heard them with neo pros yet. I'm hoping for something that will sound a little smoother, thinking 2 or 3 per door, and want to keep them close together to avoid phasing issues.

Do you all think some silk domes would do good? I'd like to keep the budget for tweeters under $100, plan on running them active on a 4ch amp with the neopros. The mids will be wired to 2 ohms per channel if that makes any difference. The front stage will be trying to keep up with 145 db + of substage, and I want it to stay clean sounding where the celestion 5.5 and super tweet start breaking up at full tilt now (head unit power and passive crossover)

I thank you all for any advice and suggestions! Oh and mounting will likely be half inch or 3/4 plywood and glass.

If you are going to run multiple tweeters, go with the Vifa small ring radiators (XT25SC90-04) or the neo ones people run from them. Sound great and reasonably priced. If you want a supertweeter and want to keep up and sound pretty good doing it, go with the better Selenium ones, only supertweeters I've heard that sound pretty good to me, IMO.

I kinda like how the vifas look. Now I'm wondering where I would cross them at, the neo pros are supposed to reach up to like 5k. I guess since I'm going active I can just play with them till I'm happy with the sound. I just don't wanna drop cash and regret the purchase.

I've seen many people recommend the vifas so they must def be a good choice. But I'll go a different route....I recently bought a set of RE silk domes (they are the ones that come in the XXX comp set) and I'm blown away by the sound and power handling. I've got them running active on my ppi p900.4 and they are taking 140rms daily without even flintching. And I feel they have been the best sounding tweets I've used to this day. That's out of Crescendo, Memphis sync, Cdt, even some of the entry-mid level morel stuff. Very solid tweets, and def large too...I believe 1.75" for silks that's big. Good luck in your decision!

2.2khz

And I would do two max per door. I don't like my highs too bright so I usually have my tweets 2-5db lower than my mids.

I have mine crossed around 3k, they sound awesome for sure. Great budget tweeters, not harsh at all.
