Default Need help deciding which amp?

Ok so im deciding on which amp i should buy and i need a little more knowledge before doing so. Ive built a box for a nsv3 12 and its 3.25cuft after port and displacement. and we all know that if the box is bigger than specs youll need less power to push it to the limit. but how much power does everybody think the nsv3 needs before bottoming out in that size of an enclosure im buying a dual 2 and going to drop it down to .7 or whatever its going to read and had thought of buying a bc3500 but i still dont know if its going to be enough but the amp will be on strong electrical thanks for the help

A bc3500 at 1ohm should be plenty of power in that huge box

Headroom is never bad though
Worst case you turn it down a little bit
I would stick a 5k on there any day
If you really want to see the limits of it I would go with something in the 6-8k range

D2 wired to 1ohm nom you are looking at 2 ohm reactive at best
If it's more a daily thing that bc3500 or a 5k would be sweet

im sure It will take more than the bc3500 since your d2 will only get you to 1 ohm nominal

You think there will be that much box rise in a box thats .75 cu net to big? And yes it is more of a daily thing but i still want it almost bottoming out when i want it to!

If you just build it right you will be way happier
And 2x rise is a good goal to hope for so don't expect much less if any than 2ohm
Also why not just build it proper and let her rip
Your box may unload quickly below tuning so be sure to set your ssf to not damage the sub, but iirc these are free aired on 2500 clamped.... So I don't see much of an issue

Why not just build to optimal specs and power accordingly
If you are trying to build a do all box I don't think making a big box is going to get you to your goal.

If you just build a good box and tweek it a little to optimize it you will be happier IMO
