Default 95g 8 help

so i have a 95g motor as well as the coil from one with a compoite cone im trying to figure out how to salvage, and a 8" sa 8 cone as well as a 10" basket

pllan is to build an epic 8 build an adapter to meet the cone my question is what type of susspention would i need for this being itll be very light weight.

my other concern is the motor being able to max out the xmax ability of the 8" surround.

anyone have any input to help with this project

well the ive wanted to do a 3" 8 for a while but after reading it seems as though it cant be done to well on an 8" basket because theres not much spider left after the coil so i think this way i shouldnt have any issues exept perhaps the surround on the 8 not being able to handle the full xmax of the motor

no cone.. just use an 8" spider and a Pringles cap done

{you could glue a CD to the pringles cap...}

What's the ID of the spokes? (If it's 6 1/2" you can use a 7" with the flange cut off and stuff it down in the basket then CA it at every spoke.)

This has been done by several people on here. Do some searches. I did this once. Used a standard 10" 12 spoke made an adapter for the cone everything else was standard 10" sub stuff.
