Default 2/0 welding cable... who uses it

What size lugs did you use for your 2/0 welding cable runs? It looks about the same size as sky high 1/0 so I'm wondering if 1/0 lugs will work. Any info or input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys

I use 2/0 welding cable and the corresponding lugs from the welding supply store. The lugs I got are much beefier than any of the "car audio" ones I have seen.

There are not as many strands in welding cable as car audio cable so its a bit easier to fit into a lug. I found a local welding store on ebay and so I had them the next day.

For example: http://www.ebay.com/itm/10-2-0-Gauge...f35191&vxp=mtr

I bought welding 2/0 lugs to go with my welding 2/0 wire and found out the hard way that not all welding 2/0 lugs are the same size so buy from a reputable ebay store

This is my reason for posting this! I got royal excelene in 2/0 and didn't get lugs. Might just stop at praxair tomorrow during lunch and grab some lugs so I do t have to trim back to fit the 1/0 car audio lugs

Buy real copper 2/0 lugs from local welding shop. Get the long necked ones

Seems SPL Farms is really planning for a good harvest this season. (Nice)
I have no input on the 2/0 though.

Welding cable runs true to size. Don't know why in the hell car audio cables can't do the same.

Sky High 1/0 lugs are a perfect fit for my 2/0 welding cable.

Every standard 2/0 lug I have come across has fit my 2/0 Royal Excelene welding cable. I did try some of the ultraflex stuff from from welding supply, I did have to trim that to fit in a standard 2/0 lug. I have some coming from Del city that were the cheapest I have found online, hopefully those fit and crimp nicely.

Windy Nation 2/0 lugs on ebay fit well, as well as 2/0 lugs from genuinedealz on eBay. But welding 2/0 fits perfectly in all my toolmaker 1/0 amp inputs and any other car audio 1/0 designated inputs.
