Default Is this box ok?

I built a box for two sundown z v.3 15's. I built this box using the re box calculator, I know, I didnt find out about other box building programs until after. The re box calculator doesn't calculate sub displacement in regards to tuning. So its tuned a little higher than I wanted. Im worried about the box being peaky because sundown recommends a tuning of 32hz and 48 sq in of port per sub. How do you guys think this box will perform? I know its a little big, tuned a little higher than, and not as much port area as recommended. Box is tripple baffled on the outside of the box.

Airspace is perfcet, just drop the tuning, you'll play down to 28hz with that 35hz tune I'd guess, it's fine just try to drop the tuning, you nee more port area more like 15sq in per cube or 14sq in per cube,

Good Luck brother,

Kindest Regards.

Would making the port more narrow fix it or do I need to make the port longer by making it L shaped?

Add "L" I mean just leave a width long (between the port and rear wall) then slap an "L" so it'd be like a duct all around the walls with the same width and height,

Good Luck,

Kindest Regards.

crownvic, the fact that you attached .pdf's vs. some tiny azz thumbnail gets you a +1 in my book.
As for as the design, I dunno, I always use BBP. Not to mention I never even heard those beauties besides vids.

Ok guys I think I made a mistake in torres. The re calculator says my port length is 22 1/8 thats not the number I had in torres. When I put 22.125 in the port length in torres it drops my tuning to 32.8 hz. Is this right? This is what it looks like with the correct port length.

I had thumbnails at first but went back and changed them to pdf's because they were small. lol. I may have to take a look at bbp, I forgot about that one.

Nevermind thats not right. In torres it wants the length of the port wall not overall port length, so Im going to need to make it a L. So when figuring the port length in torres is it port length 1 + port length 2 + half of port width?
