Default Drilling hole in battery terminal

I have a Toolmaker 6-0 copper battery terminal. I recently purchased a battery and the battery post is too large for the Toolmaker insert. I need to drill a hole to make the Toolmaker copper battery terminal larger. Would Home Depot or any hardware store have the equipment to do this. Is there a special drill I need them to use for this task. Thanks in advance.

if your talking about the hole that slips over the battery post, any metal bit will work, especially drilling copper

Jeff it's the six spot lug style copper battery terminal. The terminal post is similar to your first picture (it is not the SAE style). Can I simply take it to Home Depot and have them drill a larger hole.

Yes
Just don't drill it so big that there is too little metal on the connection point to make a good connection

If it's like the first picture I don't think it's possible but you never know what people will do
