Default Who wants to know about the XS lithium?

Yeah, I have two 36KSPL models. Yeah, I owned a Juicebox 80Ah before.

Whadda ya wanna do, you wanna fight about it?

Feel free to ask questions, I couldn't find any threads from an owner of the XS lithiums so I figured I'd offer.

You mean SPL numbers? Went up .3 on 30 second music run from 80Ah JB + 2 NSB 170-FT + D3100 to 2 XS 36KSPL. The 2 XS are 200WH more than the Juicebox. Taking the AGMs out from the JB config cost .5dB on a burp.

Currently a 158.9 sealed, 160.1 door open. New subs going in soon.

You can charge them with a normal AGM charger if you shut it off immediately upon it reaching "full" status. They also sell 15A/25A Li chargers. You'd only need the Li charger to top off for competition or if you completely drain the batt to 0% (if you left a draw on in the car for a really long time).

I have zero problems with people having a shop or other enthusiast do their build. But it's a little disrespectful they take credit for it and/or don't correct people when they assume the owner did the work. Happens all the time.

Well, score went up, so better. The Juicebox performed fine for the time I had it, minus the issues I discovered.

I did a clamp test on the prototype 30K with all 3 12Ks hooked up, lmao. I think I got to about 18K before the amps fluttered at 9.5V. Lithium is designed to keep ramping up the amperage as the voltage falls, so it can put out an absurd amount of amperage at 9V, but we can't really use amps at that voltage, lol. But that was a single prototype, these ones I have now are built differently with stronger design.

If XS wanted people to see the inside, they would've posted pics. I'm not going to open it, I've already seen the inside of JB and XS and JYP lithiums. JB is the only I wouldn't recommend.

Drops to 12.1 full tilt on music while revving to 2K RPM (a DC 370 and a 270 alt). Drops to 11.2 at idle. When it reaches those voltages, it doesn't drop, just stays there. So I'll come out at 158.7 on music and only drop to 158.3 on 30 seconds, clipped a lot.

That's 2 batts doing that. 54 pounds of battery. Just think about that.

What's the issue you found with Juicebox?
