Default Stereo Integrity MAG V3 opinion?

I am lookin for your opinion
Anyone using this in a car?
I really want to replace my SA-15 with 2 12's.
I have 2x MB Quart DSC 1500Ds.
My goal is SQ on the louder side, not looking for ultimate lows but tactile and a little air moving @ 30Hz and above is my goal.
I was looking at quite a few used subs on here [mostly sa-12's] but would I be happy with these?
The vehicle is a 01 Malibu, deck is cut, seats mainly up. The SA 15 is good but just when it gets where I like it power compression or heat/coil smell tell me 'Thats enough!'
$280 shipped in a similar size enclosure to the SA?
Should I try to squeeze it in the budget before they are no more?
I feel for Nick but I wanted more SI stuff in the house too, my HT 18 needs a partner. I never thought my window of opportunity was closing this fast.
If Sundown took over the whole line now that would be nirvana.

Well I tied the wife up. I told her no new purse or shoes and showed her who is boss.
I just got 2 of these, I hope my goals are met.
I'd still love to hear your input.
Really, I do, it's going to be a few before they arrive.
I want to build anticipation...

that's funny as I just ordered one. Heard the old version from 2002 and they got surprisingly low in a 1.5 cube box. Was impressed.

Surely the newly released model shouldn't be any different

Maybe we can compare notes.
The thing is Nick said 1 flared 4" port per sub. When I model it I get close to 27 m/sec @ 1500 watts - with 2x 4" ports @ 3 cubes and 32 Hz. (2 Subs)

My take on this is of the somewhat limited ported enclosures I have actually built the ones that came closest to chuffing w/o going over sounded best.
This is speaking flat response wise, SPL isn't my goal.
I am hoping for flat and on the loud side here.
If not I guess I have a piece of history.

The Mag is a great sub -- this one is a little better than the original from back in the day. More rugged & has a shorting ring.

The 15" is my issue, I can't fit it where I want.
The SA is great, placement isn't. My goal has always been 2 12", this just seemed like the best idea to try. Hell at that price how could I go wrong?
I now will soon be in possession of 2 pieces of history.
