Default Blown Zv2 how do I fix

As the title says, I blew one of my pair of zv2 18"s. It blew because I clipped it too hard. The coil burnt and unwound. My amp went into protect mode. The basket is the 6 spoke design and not the 4. Can someone tell me what parts I need to start looking for. I am new to reconing speakers. I would prefer a drop in kit if sundown makes one. Can someone steer me in the right direction to getting the speaker back to pounding?

running a bc3500 amp at 1/2 ohm. two runs of power wire. 3 batteries. Singer 250 amp hairpin alternator. Voltage drop wasn't the issues. The song I had playing was bass boosted and i didn't know it and I turned the gain up too much

yeah, next question was going to be about gain. Jacob should be able to make you a drop in, if not contact PSI.

Indeed -- we still have all of the original parts & quite possibly upgraded parts for it. When you e-mail Bryan he can help you out.

Thank you. If I recone the one, should I do the other even though it is not blown? The one I believe was reconed by SA as the original owner when he bought the speaker it arrived damaged. He sent it back to SA and they repaired it and sent it back fixed. The part that the speaker wire goes into (the lugs) have a larger hole on the repaired speaker. The one that I blown has smaller lug holes. As you can see the wire I am using barely fits in.

Basically my question is, should I upgrade the other one even though it rebuilt once before and I assume has upgraded lugs? Also can I order new lugs for the blown speaker so they match the other one and have the larger holes?
