So i have 2 12 dss ethos dual 1 subs. Ive been told they can take over 2k so i want to push a true 2000 rms to each one. I have the choices of wiring to either .25, 1, or 4 Or i can wire each sub seperate at .5 2 ohms, etc So im not not at all what my box rise is.
Here are my choices on what i have thought to do and im trying to clamp close to 4k. I guess i dont want to spend over $1000 on a 5k amp and not even see a true 3k.
Setup 1: 2 2-3k amps wired at .5 ohms to each sub
Setup 2: 1 5-6k amp wired at 1 ohm for both subs.
My electrical: singer 270A large case alt, 3 Xs d3100, and a stock 80ah agm.
What would you do and why? Will this be enough electrical to hold 12.8 or mid 12s full tilt?
