BassBox6 or WinISD for modeling; pen and paper for dimensional/volume stuff.

I didn't know about the explicit audio app. I'll try that out tonight.

I've tried 12volt.com but there was something I didn't like about it. Can't remember. Ill give it a try again. Might have been user error lol

Are you doing that many that you need to do the calcs on your phone? Or do you not have access to a computer

If I'm building something I will always model it in SolidWorks, and check volumes on there. Even on weird shapes its accurate to like three decimal places. Plus you can pull maximum and minimum dimensions in X,Y,and Z directions to check things like resonances and compression, plug in pressure values to see strain levels on bigger unbraced panels, and even send parameters to CNC machines or 3D printers. Probably the best business expense you can have if you are in the industry. I've been out of the business for like 5 years and I still pay my license fees just because I've become so hooked on its versatility.

If you need someone to put a design together for you hit me up, no charge mate

No its just for personal use. I don't really have access to a pc. Im just being picky cause I got a link from someone on smd a couple years ago. It was a really cool website. It's actually how I learned to build boxes but I lost the bookmark when I got a new phone it was a weird address the only thing I remember was it had 'bit' in the address. Thanks for the help tho

I was playing with the xplict calculator. Does anyone know how accurate it is?

The website I'm speaking of showed the formula for finding the cu ft of wld (which is quite simple) then I explained how to -displacement. Then you plug in the cu ft, the port area and tuning frequently. Then it would give you the port length and I believe gross cu ft. Idk if anyone else has use it but i thought it was pretty awesome
