Default mixing agm and lead acid?

Have 2 stock batteries, they rest at 12.6-12.7

Would 2 hc600's be ok to add to them?

They would it on my amp rack nicely and my voltage drops down to mid 13's sometimes so I would like a bit more battery power. Plus they are only $50 each...

I was always told not to mix lead acid and agm. Agm rests higher and the 2 types will fight each other

What he means is that if you're only dropping into the mid 13's is that you're not even using any of your battery reserve yet, so simply adding more batts wont help your lights or your voltage drop.

But the second battery helped a lot but now I want to get louder and mid 13's is just where I let it go because of the lights and what not...

Take your uber money and buy Hairpin like 240alt prly be like $300 because I know 350a alts are like $450 from excessive for your car so a smaller alt like a 240amp would be like $300

Your s1500 draws 120amps your ks300.4 will draw 85amps max and your car (average HHR) uses an average of 62amps that adds up to 267amps if you have the stock bigger 140amp alt the leaves you with -127 amps
