Default decisions with tweeter placements.

so, I have a 2015 malibu, and I am missing my old trucks doors. I had 4 6.5's and 4 tweets in each door. TONS of midbass an crisp highs, however I don't want to cut up the doors, and don't want to go crazy with mods, i'm looking to keep the interior looking stock. so i'm thinking of replacing the junk crunch 6.5 components I put in the factory locations with a different style. im thinking of putting some super tweeters under the dash firing down at the floor. I think it will help with the lack of highs.

The factory a pilliars have tweeters in them but will only allow a tweeters with a total diameter of 3/4 of an inch, and it limits me to what I can put there.

and putting some midranges in the doors.

What are your thoughts with putting tweeters under the dash firing down.

Basically the standard component tweeters barely fit in the grill of the tweeter and mount back in the a pillar , the pillar has a pretty smooth but angular bend right where the tweet goes so it makes it almost impossible 2 do a lot with it. I've also contemplated glassing the a pillars and dropping a solid 4 inch mid and super tweet in there but ... I'm really trying to keep the cars outward appearance as stock as possible.

Maybe some horns under the dash but super tweetes would probably like crap firing down. buy some cheap ones off ebay and give them a try, if they dont work sell them.
Is tweeter pods on the sail panels an option?

I'd get some higher quality components and use the stock location. Some hertz HSK XLs should keep up with a mid 150s sub stage.

Doing the a pillars is an option yes. Idk how much a quality place would charge but it is an option. If I were to do something like that I would look at a super tweet of some sort and a mid. Something to bring some of the vocals up higher.
