Question Crescendo subs vs Emf subs

Which is better, an Emf Banhammer or Crescendo Contralto? And what's the difference between 4 inch 4 layer coil vs 3 inch 8 layer coil?

out of those id choose emf. sean (someone say diff if they think so) has more knowledge in woofers then crescendo

a 3" 8 layer can be just as much material as a 4" 4 layer. im willing to bet the EMF may have a US coil in it also, i believe the contralto's are china lines

You're not going to find any opinions on either sub since they're both pretty much brand new

4" 4 layer is what I prefer.

Sean is worse than JS alts when it comes to customer service (possibly the worst in the industry). One of the Team A-hole guys from Canada had 6 EMF 18's and 2 of the coils fell off the former within 30 seconds. Other's have had softparts be bad right out of the box and got nothing in return for it

i understand who he is. but thats not what i was concerned with when i made my previous post. mine was in relation to one company probably ordering from a company and letting them do the design and another knowing what that want and having it made to there design

They would be two of my last choices for woofers.

4" handles more power, 3" coil/assembly is usually lighter and takes less power

Yes he does know what he's doing (or so it seems that way). His Astro puts up insane numbers, I'll give him that
