Default Anyone know how to wire a 2 -wire chevy cs-130

Just bought one to upgrade the alt in my new car (91 camry) and I know it's pretty simple but I don't want to fry this sucker cuz then I have to wait another week for one to arrive at O'reillys.

Is it as simple as sense to sense and ignition to ignition? I see it says not to put it on the same circuit as the coil or it'll keep the car running after the key is off so i'm a little scared on that. Do I need to jump anything to the battery connection? Do I need to rewire the lamp to something or a resistor since this alt doesn't have the lamp wire?

I already upgraded the battery wire to 1/0 sky high, but do I need to upgrade the sense wire too since it's a much higher amperage alt (70-80 amps at idle vs 34 amps at idle and 63 amps at 1200rpm)?

Any wiring diagrams would be appreciated of course. The toyota alt is the round plug 3 wire and the chevy is the 2-wire red and yellow plug from a 94 lesabre.

Those are really easy you can probably not connect anything and once you rev the car it will excite/charge. But real answer is one wire goes to constant the other to lamp wire.

Cool I'm a Ford guy so I don't know much about chevy. In the middle of wiring it right now actually. Just adjusting the mounting arm and i'm done.

the S is the sense. this is connected to output post. the L is the lamp/turn on. you want to connect this through lightbulb (battery indicator on dash) which is switched power. if you dont have a light circuit, use a 500 ohm resistor on a relay circuit switched on with car.
