Default Thoughts on t/s parameters

Just finished testing a sub I built that I plan to use in a 6th order. It a dual1 15. Fs 37.68 qms 4.74 qes.294 qts .277 vas 4.323cuft mms 266g b/l 20.49 re 1.96 b/l^2/re is 214 an Spl factor of .8 the ebp 136. I haven't modeled it yet but I think it will do well. Opinions from knowledgeable people appreciated.

3 in coil thin 8layer. Ferrite motor should be good for close to 3 inch p-p mechanical or whatever the x10 spider can handle.

That low of a qts is going to need massive vent area for a 6th. I foresee the proper vent area being too large to handle unless you're filling the back of a Suburban. A mid-q sub of around .4 to .5 would be a lot better, but honestly (people will disagree) IMO it will be better suited in a ported enclosure.

Plan is low side 4.5cu net per tuned to 28 high side 4.75 per tuned to 55. This will be series tuned. Should I use more port area adjust volumes a little ? These t/s are pre break in as well.

I could possibly do 175 or 210 sqin of port for the low side. High side could run a little over 850 if needed.

You'll need to model it to see the port velocity with the power you plan on. A good guideline is to stay under 25 meters/sec on the velocity.
