Default Fuse trouble

I'm running a Skar audio sk2500.1 at 1ohm on a pair of ddx's with an energie pb2800 battery in the rear and my having trouble with it messing up fuse holders.. It's not actually blowing the fuse, I'm running 0awg with a 150amp anl fuse. The first one it left a little burn spot on the side of the fuse holder and quit working again it never actually blew the fuse with that holder so I bought a new one same size 150amp anl changed everything worked good for a while and all of a sudden quit one day that fuse holder looked like it had condensation inside it but that's not possible it was inside the car the entire time.. And the little section of wire coming off the fuse holder in each direction was warm but by the amp and battery it was still cool, I don't understand. I run it direct with no fuse not a problem at all the wire doesn't get warm the amp stays cool. And also I've never had the fuse under the hood in between battery to battery blow it's always stayed good and is also a 150amp anl.. I hope someone can charm in here and tell me what's going on! Would prefer to have a fuse between that secondary battery and amp. Thanks caco!

Pictures? Heat means there's resistance somewhere; either a loose or corroded terminal, fuse, holder, etc. If it's getting hot enough to cause steam in the fuse holder that's not good, lol.

That amp will draw a little over 200a at times, something to think about. You should be using a 250a fuse http://skaraudio.com/SKManual.pdf

Get a better fuse holder. I prefer ones with lugs that dont require a terminal

I had that happen a few times culprit being the type of terminal I used. Was using the cheap super hard to crimp gold plated junk changed to copper o-ring problem went away. Make sure everything is super tight.

Thanks for the responses everyone I'll add a couple pics of the type of wire I'm using and the second fuse holder.. Didn't keep first one. Connections are all tight and I checked terminals this morning with magnet they are all copper?? the spot on this second fuse holder won't let the fuse holder come apart now like it melted the plastic to the copper itself.. Thanks again everyone.. Well maybe it won't let me upload photos.. I'll keep trying tho!
