Default Built, or get built?

So here is the issue i can spend right under 500 and get already built custom 10s for of them, or i can try and find someone to build some 10s using the motors that i already have.

price and time wise would it be more beneficial to just purchase those subs or reuse the motors i have and get some differ ones built.

id say it depends on whether they were built right and the parts used will fit your build needs in terms of box style and power. if not, go custom (i prefer custom myself)

thats why I'm sitting on the fence especially since I'm not the most patient lol. the sad part about it is i won't even start my new build until my move and getting situated, so in theory i would have time to get them built.

just have to find a sub builder

Go to a mirror and get acquainted with him. Anyone can build subs, it's glue and some clamps. What motors do you have? We can help you find everything you need.

My first run at building subs were a pair of Punch HX2s I built using all raw parts meaning they weren't drop in recones. It was a very fun experience and I learned a whole lot from doing it. I would say just study up and try it out yourself. You don't need anything special to do most of the stuff can be found at your local hardware store.

Yea, I thought reconing was gonna be hard, piece of cake...

Building subs shouldn't be too bad...
