Default $500 total budget. How would you spend it?

My new road trip vehicle is gutted of all audio so I'm starting from scratch and really don't want to spend over $500 but I'm having a hard time getting under $650. Obviously with a $500 budget it doesn't have to be over the top, just something to keep me entertained for 16-24 hour long drives

Pioneer 80prs $250
Vifa tweeters $40
Silverflute 6.5's $60
Sundown E12 $60
Prefab sealed box $40
PPI 900.5 $200

How did you like that amp? The only reason I went with that headunit and amp is because I already run both and know they are very solid pieces. The headunit can always be transferred to another vehicle but I'm looking into cheaper active capable units

Right on, I gotcha the amp is really nice loud clean the only thing like any class a/b you want it to breathe because it runs hotter then a class d. Not 100 percent if you run active with this radio but does have front rear and sub outputs so should and saves 60 bucks. Ditch the ****ing 80prs and you could get way more for the money.

you don't need time alignment or active crossover or a volt meter built into the unit for a road trip vehicle....do you?

if you can find a bt948hd used for a decent price, it has manual time alignment...got mine for $40

still 2 e12 d2's on yard sale...get a 1k at 2 ohm amp...mrpm1000 at decent price maybe.

vifa tweets are $30/pair for the 50w textile dome. Plenty....

900.5?

Just get a 50x4

4x sme.654 and 4x 4 ohm vifa 50w rms....2 ohms per channel any 50x4 @ 4 ohm will do imo.

**** a high end unit for this

What about ditching the hu for a budget kenwood with 6 channel preouts?

I know they have a resale value of poo, but they are cheaper and you can sell it here or on cl.

Yes I must have an active headunit. Just because its budget doesn't mean I don't want it to sound very good.

Reason for the 900.5 is to power everything with 1 amp for $200. It can probably be done for less, which is why I made this thread

I only need 1 set of "components" for the front doors

Headunit and speakers are pretty much 100% set. Amp(s) is what I'm unsure of
