Default Reliable and 3k+ for $500-600?

I'm looking to replace my taramps dsp3k for something that will put out actual 3k+ at 2 ohms and has a great history. I knew I should have bought the 2 ohm model
I didn't want to spend more than $600 if possible.
Is this possible?
I don't play my system loud for more than a couple songs straight before i turn it up and down when i get to stop lights on my way to and from work and I have a 150a alt with about 100ah of batteries.

Right now I have a 74ah odyssey battery but I'll add another batt.
If I sell my taramps my budget will go up

What's wrong with the taramps?
Can you wire to .5ohm?
Sell that amp and get a 5k, that will put out around 3k at 2ohm, but if you wire to 2ohm your rise will make it less

Nothing is wrong with it. I just want more headroom and I have two d2 subs so I'm not getting full power.

Yeah should have gone with a 2ohm model
Or get a different 3k and wire to .5ohm
You will probably need a larger alt to safely run a 3k at .5ohm though

I don't see a available alternator for my car and I was trying to keep the weight down as much as possible that's why I didn't want to increase my battery ah capacity more.
This is why I need a strong amp
