Default I need to vent,,basket sizes...

So i have decided to make a 16 cu.ft box for 4-15's. IM TRYING TO BUILD A ONE TIME PORTED BOX WITH T-NUTS GOOD WIRE AND ALL THAT.The issue is like most of us i may want to switch my 15's to different models from time to time. But apparently all the damn cut outs are different.I need to figure out a way i dont have to make more boards to fit new 15's everytime i switch or stay with theses forever. uhhh pissed....

Cut wood or even aluminum rings and affix to the baffle to make up the gap. 14 1/8 cutout on a ti.

I believe that he is referring to the action of venting, ie letting off steam, so to speak. But I do like what was stated, none the less.

make your box like this with a recess for a large ring (around 1.5-2" larger then the sub diameter) like this. you can use Tnuts on the baffle for quick swaps or repeated attach/ reattach

then make a ring like this that fits in the recess. this would be the only part needed to make a new sub cutout diameter. it would have the box bolt pattern copied into it. then add the basket pattern separate

looks like this
