Default Rg6/Rg59 Rca cables

Anybody make there own rca's out of coaxial? I'm Sick of the serious over-saturation of only Twisted rca's on the market. I don't own any equipment with balanced inputs. I've been using basic pre made rg59 coaxial rca's in pairs for years. Always worked good for me. But Wanting to start making my own. I'm thinking rg6 might be to stiff. But I'm gonna start some experimenting soon. Just curious others thought might be on this topic?

Great shielding. Cheap. Stiff and therefore fragile.

I made mine using instrument cable, parts-express.com has everything I used. Fully shielded and cheaper than most budget cables.

Buy Blue Jeans Cable LC-1. You can but it from rawcable.com sold by the foot. I bought MonsterCable rca ends on eBay. You need to make sure that the rca ends you but have an id large enough for the LC-1 cable.

Some dude on DIYMA and I think he's on here too, made some good RCA's that were super low noise or something like that.

YES!. Thank you. Pretty much what I've been looking for. I probably will skip making my own and go straight for these. I'm using monoprice right now. But i really am liking what I've read so far on these blue Jeans.

Here is a cool article on the LC1. Good stuff

LC-1 Audio Cable Design Notes -- Blue Jeans Cable

"The funny thing about unbalanced audio, as we discovered when we entered the cable business, is that there's very little cable on the market which is expressly designed for use as unbalanced audio interconnect. Unbalanced audio doesn't see a lot of professional use, so many broadcast professionals often simply use whatever balanced audio cable they have on hand, and leave one of the conductors unconnected; meanwhile, though some manufacturers do make cable specific to unbalanced audio, it's often not really well-built for the application and is intended more for building "throw-in" style economy cables--poorly shielded, and high in capacitance." "These two attributes, shielding and capacitance, are the most important factors in unbalanced audio cable quality."
