Default Alternator or battery question

My voltage meter-at amplifiers- never gets below 12.5 at full tilt with lights on.Ok so my
lights will dim very very little.Bigger alt or bigger batt/more batts? The battery never seems even alittle drained on resting voltage-12.4 or higher even after hours of hard play.Whats the cause?
Yes big 3 is up to par.

What is the current Alt/battery setup?

Regardless I would get an alt.

Yeah I would say the answer to this question is always alt but even then your lights may not stop dimming. Even .1 drop can cause older lights to dim. The severity of the dim may lighten up tremendously though.

Hell you may want to look into a light upgrade.

yes the Alternator is a great choice, but another question might be is how do you like to play your system. Low to medium volume then once in a while you turn it up to show someone what it does. Or do you play at just about full tilt and use your lights as a guage. As in turn it up till the lights just start to dim. Adding both ALT and Batteries might be the best choice.

Tradition headlights will dim but HIDs won't? Or it won't be as noticeable as traditional lights. I think....

I want to say that is correct but I could be totally wrong.

If light dimming is an issue you want to resolve then that could be the solution. *if I'm right*
