Default Lithium wiring and charging

Did a bit of searching not finding a whole lot. I see most run a single AGM for starting then a lithium in the back. I see some say isolator, some don't. I have a battery tender to keep the battery until i install it.

Picked up a Juicebox 500wh lithium. ( https://juiceboxbattery.com/product/...hosphate-unit/ ) Replacing a shot 140ah agm I had in the back. Replaced the front maybe a month or 2 ago (never wired to the bad 140ah). Do you think that needs to be replaced? Trying to get some tried and tested info on how to wire it in and will leaving it on alt charging for long periods of time be alright? Haven't seen anyone saying differently.

Thanks,
David

I run agm up front wired to limitless lithium in back and drive daily without a single problem with stock alt. I do top the lithium off about once a month with lithium charger. On their Facebook page just about all of them do not run a starting battery, they have a distro block up front from alt to block straight to lithium in back. They say the agm pulls down the lithium. I haven't taken mine out yet, but I will wait til they have done that for long term use first.

That's what I was worried about. Agm resting voltage is a fair bit lower than the lithium.

Do NOT charge that lithium with a basic trickle charger. That is what cooked my original.

I had my original hooked up to a basic wet lead acid. No battery isolation module, had no problems. The lithium's do rest at a higher voltage, but once the vehicle starts and the alternator kicks in, the battery is being charged back past the resting voltage.

Lithium's recharge and discharge at crazy fast rates. I was told by Kevin at juicebox that the easiest way of recharging a weak or dead lithium is literally hooking it up to a fresh 12v battery, it will recharge within seconds.

David, feel free to contact me if you have any further questions, or call Juicebox (586) 879-6085 and ask for Kevin.
