Default Box design quandary

I've been struggling with some decision issues, not because I don't have the room, the equipment or anything else.

So, I'm putting a system in a Hatchback, it's a geo metro (I know, but I love it).

I was originally planning a 15 for this car, but someone suggested more power spread over more voice coils was better in this particular application, I'm going to take his advice and use 2 12's instead.

now.... box is in question, I originally planned to do ported, after looking up the box recommendations from the manufacturer. I saw a single reflex bandpass design that I can make work.
So the question is (I know it took a bit to get here) would ported or single reflex bandpass be better?
I have 8's to fill the midbass end.

I listen to a very wide variety of music, rap, rock, classical, alternative, metal, some country (make your ears bleed, sigh), so a little of everything.
Accoustical is my favorite.

Should've added, I'm talking about 4th order (I'm sure those that are experienced will know that already)

I've decided to go with ported to allow room for other things too.

I'm designing my box at the moment, how do I calculate the displacement for 45's in every corner?

Internal
15.5x29x15
Rectangular port flared on both ends 4x6x11

2 12's in the box

Why not measure the 45's like they were a square and 1/2 the displacement?

I owned a ‘96 Metro and loved it. Had 2 Hella Comet lights on it. If I turned the lights on while the little 3 banger was at idle then the load put on the alternator was almost enough to stall the motor!!! So keep that in mind. If you have the 4 cylinder then it will be a bit better.

It is pretty easy to seal off the stock rear speaker locations. Stock is 6 1/2”. You might be able to fit an 8” mid bass in there with a little trimming.

I have seen videos on the tube showing hatchbacks with a single 15” or 18” sub hitting 150+ dB. That is the route that I would go, but that’s just my opinion.

I would like to design it before it goes in so I know my air space before hand. I 45'd the port to hold the width through the curve, I ended up leaving the other corners square with a brace between the subs.
Subs up port back.

Must not have ran that great, my geo before this one had everything stock which meant 50 amp alt. With halogen bulbs it would suck it down pretty good to have lights on and such but never stall. I changed everything to LED, had 2 amps in it and still was able to hold a good charge (alternator output was still 13-14v jamming) and not phase any lights.

This project I put a cs130 alt in it, putting out 105 amp. My 12's took 250rms each, I had 1000watt amp on them turned wayyyyy down and it hammered better than any system I've put in my truck (hatchback is so cheating).
Everything I've done for this I've made sure it was low power. I have 1 optima up front and 4 kinetik hc600 in the spare tire spot, I don't think power will be an issue.
