yellow tops are not very good... you need a batcap or xs battery but my friend has one 2200 on his omega and it pounds... if it were me id go wit 2 2200s and good batteries

I wouldn't get the 3 or 4 YT's yet. Use that money and get yourself a nice alternator. And I have a 2200d on a 15" HD3. Many, shit slaps nice!

I'd run two 2200's at 0.5 ohm for more power just make sure you have the electrical to back them up. Yellowtops are not even close to ideal for car audio.

I have 2 2200's straped on 2 HDC3 10's with a stock alt for now and 2 Deka 9a31's and as long as I don't clip them I only dip to high 13's. I will be getting an alt for sure but the amps are pretty efficient at 1 ohm each. I'm not so sure about half ohm but it shouldn't be too much worse.

for the very short time i ran my 3500 it worked on a single quad coil wired down to .5 ohms. with good electrical it seems like just about any amps can run below there rated. tommyk had his zx2500.1 wired to 1 ohm kickin ass with it. he has good electrical.
