Default what is this strand count?

STRANDING IS 19X85/30 STRANDS OF BARE COPPER

how the heck do u get the number of strands from this? it is welding cable if that matters.

i bought it at airgas, i dont have a link but is crazy thick. the O.D. of just the copper is .83

You don't need strand count. the more the strand count the more flexible the cable will be. You want O.D. of the copper. If its .8" then you need to show where this is lol.

i thought it helped on the resistance having a higher count too.

just went to airgas a national welding supply company. should be in almost every big city.

Thats gotta be 4/0 wire atleast, my 2/0 is like .525

If your 2/0 is just over .5" that seems kinda small to me my RF 4 gauge is 3/8" if not a little more. But I have not personally had 0 or 1/0 or bigger wire yet sadly so I could be wrong.

my 1/0 is bigger than .5", that's not a true 2/0 more like a good 4 gauge or maybe 2 gauge
