Default How to hook up a Kinetik?

Might be a dumb question, oh well im a rookie compared to u guys, help please.. I want to know when I get my system hooked up, do I run my amp to the kinetik directly or do I somehow run my car battery to my extra battery.. Just curious. I already have my wires ran from my last system anyways which didn't have a extra battery. Just curious how to install a battery dedicated to my system.. And if someone recommends somethin better than kinetik for only 1200rms let me know. thanks

why is this in the AQ section?
you can run the amp off the kinetik if it's close by like in the trunk, if the kinetik is gonna be upfront you install it like normal, power wire to amp from battery and ground the amp.

and xs>kinetik

honestly, for 1200 rms you don't really need an extra battery. just get a good battery up front and do the big 3! to make it easier I would suggest that. if your stuck on getting a battery for the rear, I think a small batcap or kinetic would be fine! like the kinetic 600!! IMO!

I say just upgrade the front battery to a good one, and do the big 3 in zero gauge, that would cover it all.

Also just a heads up, Don't use a regular battery charger on the kinetiks or other Agm's.

I see guys around here doing it all the time and then they wonder why the batterys go bad so fast.

They make special chargers for these batterys.
