Building a box inside my center console and looking for some hands on experience choosing a midbass sub that wont break my budget. I'm looking to stay under 150 bucks for one sub but dont mind paying a bit more if I can get something genuinely worth the extra money.
The sub will be ported at 50hz, 1.0 cu and will have 300 RMS on it. I'm not one to dwell on brand name as long as it performs. I would like to find one that can hit at least through 500hz so I can have it for a wide range.
I just thought I would put it out there because I want to buy, install and not have to worry about it again. I have 18's in the back of my Tahoe so I need a good gap fill sub.
I know this site is FULL of SQ guys that know this stuff upside down and backwards, so throw it out there if you would.! Thanks
