Default 18" sonance???!!!

I saw that rd audio has an 18" sonance and it seems very appealing...HOWEVER, can the motor really support that? I know the dc lvl 3 motor is larger than the sonance's motor and rusty does not suggest an 18" version of the level 3. does anybody have any experience or heard anything about the sonance? please share. Im thinking of doing 2.

If they make it, I'm sure it works. Motor structure is only one element of strength. Gap diameter, actual dimensions, and material grades all play large roles.

well rd audio had a problem a while back with the true rms wattage on their amps and what the company actually said they put out. And you cant always go by if a company makes it, it must work. 98% of the time yes, but im just being cautious because no other company does an 18 under 750rms

Plenty of other companies do 18"s under 750rms. The most successful one coming to mind being the Mach5 MJ series.

Bottom line not even RD would produce a subwoofer that flat out didn't work in that size.

There's a guy on here trying to trade or sell one of these. I'll post his thread... My bad it's sold.
