Default Power wiring question

I was discussing the number of runs I will need with a friend for my upcoming setup.

2 American Bass XD3000D
2 AudioQue HDC315
1 Stinger SPV70
2 (Unknown Battery, suggestions welcome)
1 (Under the hood replacement, suggestions welcome)
1 Mechman Alt (220-320 amps, not sure yet, its gonna be custom)

He says 4 runs of 1/0 for positive and 4 runs of 1/0 for negative from the front to the back batteries. I say 2 or 3 runs of each. The system will be doing 5000-7000W.

Thanks!

3 would be fine, but more never hurts.

4 runs of each should be fine. Like Steve said, more won't hurt...

Anyone have suggestions on the batteries I was talking about in the original post?

Also, Shok or KNU?

Thanks guys!

Most cars/trucks are unibody ...i havent grounded in the rear in almost 10 years so 4 + and 4- sound perfect for that set up

2 D3100s should be a good start. Pioneer~Saturn is running a SS XXX-10k on 2 D3100s and a Mechman 270A and doesn't drop below 14.0v. It's probably similar current draw, even though it's probably a bit less power. If you can put the SPV-70 underhood, do that, and 2 D3100s in the trunk and you should be well on your way to a very solid electrical setup.
