Default First Wall - build it in car?? Need creative ideas

Im thinking of turning my suv into a 2 seater. I think I wanna wall 3 18" AQ HDC3 18's..

But Im in a pickle. Since I cant simply line 3 subs on the top or bottom as my car inside is only 54" wide door panel to door panel, I have to get a little creative with my front baffle, heres where I need ideas.

I can either build the box IN the car, and just make odd shaped pieces and such and get max ammount of volume

OR, I can build it outside the car which would b easier to fiberglass and brace and such but then Im limited to what I can fit thru the back hatch when installing it which is 37.5" width 30" height

Id need about 20-22 cubes for the subs anyways

To me the simplest way is to simply build the box inside the car (no idea how) box the baffle on the bottom and keep the top a rectangle port (possibly even interchangeable)

Id love any creative ideas though

Heres what I had in mind, basically a square cutout to mount the subs inside of, port ontop. Im thinking there must be a cooler, more efficient and possibly better way to mount the subs though. I couldnt think of anything off the top of my head, Im not sure if subs are even allowed to be placed or fired like that

Throw me ideas!! I wanna build!!

Well only other idea I could come up with was maybe angling the 2 outer subs so they werent firing right at eachother

Dont know whether to put the subs on the top or the bottom though... do I want the port shooting at my neck?? I was thinking of putting the port at the bottom subs ontop for a little wow affect, as my seats will cover most of the bottom of the box

But hell any other creative way Im down for

Im pretty sure Im gonna have to end up building it in the car almost completely though. Just make a floor and start building ontop of it I guess.

Probly will make 2 ports just to see what sounds better to the ear. Probly try 32 and 40hz

one thing I thought of was soing like a pyramid sorta like this O
do the port on the bottom or top. O O

You reckon you might have problems with cancellation with the two firing straight at each other.?? Or maybe take the design you have and mount the one on the left up high and the one on the right down low, or vice versa.

I dont know, im just trowin ideas out there.

Why not do something like Michael Hughes 3 18's in his Yukon. Don't feel like looking for pictures but this will work just as good.

Ya I pondered this design, not near enough port area though, I want 300+" of port so a rectangle port is most likely the best solution. With 3 9" areos in 20 cubes it just isnt enough to me

Just an FYI, you don't need nearly as much port area with a aero port.
