Default Question About Truck/Topper...

This is more of a body question but figured someone on here knows..Anywho, take Tommy McKinnie's truck as an example.

What all is done to make a truck/topper as one so I will be able to build through? I know you will have to cut out the back wall, what as far as reinforcing, ect.

Thanks.

You have the same truck im doing also!

I thought it would be more to it as far as reinforcement, it's going to be pretty heavy back there...

your not cutting the standard supports away. you dont have to cut anything in the window opening. just bring the sides down straight from the window edge. then cut the bed out to match exactly.

your not cutting the back half of the cab off. your just cutting a really big hole in it. i should be doing mine in a few weeks.

Most people do not reinforce the truck when they do a walk through.

Blowthroughs are less expensive and less damaging.

but.. if you want a minivan that looks like a truck... ya gotta do what you gotta do.
