Check final ohm load

Check ground (resistance from amp - to final end - )

yes, it happened for a reason, dont use it as its currently wired

Maybe the voltage was too high.

Ground is your first culprit to check over.

I looked at the ground and power and they seemed okay. Final load is .5 ohm. Any other suggestions?

so i drove around with it at half volume after checking and double checking my wiring and connections and no problems. i did notice that the back of the box, where the amp is mounted, still has some vibrations even after double baffling it. could this cause my amp to protect? im gonna put 2x4s on the back tomorrow and see if that will minimize the vibrations.

Or put a soft barrier between them, like foam tape...
