Default Thinking about ID OEM 6.5 substage..

Because of limited space and the desire for something a little different, I am considering doing 4 ID OEMv1's down firing in my Ranger. I emailed Hessdawg about this and he said one in a .2 enclosure was impressive, but 4 in a .4 enclosure was suffocated. I have about .8-1cf to offer, which seems about right?
Anyone have experience running these as subs? Also if anyone has time to throw them into whatever program to find out some box and output info, here are the specs provided in the original thread. My other options are the TB 6.5, ED 6.5, DD6.5 (expensive!). Thanks for any and all input!

They aren't meant to be subs. Plus, you are going to have a hard time finding the V1s.

Not a good idea.. They are not ment to be subs and do not work well for subs. 1.5"vc with 0.5" tall coil. Not much to work with.. Midbass is one thing subbass is another.. Out of your choices run the TB. You willbe much happier.

PureDynamics, do you have a suggestion that isn't on my list?

These aren't too expensive. They aren't subs either, but they claim they can play into the high 20hz range in the right box. I guess they are 6 ohms too though...

TB 6.5 has to be one of the best value 6.5 subs out.. JL and Focal make a small sub as well. Focal is a 5" but your going to pay a nice dollar for those.. I don't care for 6.5 subs because no one has one that stands out.. If anything try and fit an 8" you will be much happier.
